I
am excited to send you our inaugural email of what will become a
monthly email newsletter highlighting a new or interesting online
content subscription. My hope is that by disseminating information
we've gathered from the front lines of the online content subscription
world, you will gain valuable insight and find the services useful in
your life.
What are online content subscriptions?
An online
service charging subscribers for access to a wide variety of content -including music, movies, business intelligence, news, online
games, etc. Popular examples include Napster and Wall Street Journal
Online.
Now, to what I consider the best online content
subscription -both for its usefulness and its progressive business
model. Many of you have heard firsthand my passion for Jigsaw, which is
the perfect service for entrepreneurs and those in sales and marketing
needing to identify prospects. I read about Jigsaw www.jigsaw.com in
the New York Times several years ago and was intrigued by several
features:
1. Access to contact information for nearly any
employee at any company (email and direct dial phone), searchable by
company, last name, title, etc.
2. Pay or play access to this
information. By playing, add 25 of your business contacts to the Jigsaw
database and in return get access to 25 other contacts of your
choosing. Or pay $25/month for access to 25 contacts.
If you
need to identify and reach out to people at other companies, or build a
list of potential clients or prospects, Jigsaw is immensely useful.
ContentNow has grown rapidly largely from access to the right people at
prospect companies provided by Jigsaw's service.
If you'd like
to hear more about how I've maximized the value of Jigsaw, send me an
email. Next month's email will focus on a service perfect for iPod
users.
Best regards,
Michael
